He always brought gifts --chocolate brandy truffles-- he was one-eighth foreign, Normandy stock, which added to his mystique. I don't understand the "Normandy stock" part. Why does it say "he was one-eighth foreign"?

I don't really have much money to go out and buy my boyfriend a gift for his birthday. I was thinking of maybe making him a card with pictures of us together as well as making him a couple of his favorite desserts(chocolate chip cookies, oreo truffles and apple slices) and putting them in a couple of cookie tins then giving that to him. Is that too simple? Should I get him more than that? I don't know if it will in any way influence your answer but we are both seventeen. Thanks!

our anniversairy isnt for a few months but im really bad with gifts and i want it to be perfect so i need amazing ideas ! i was thinking that part of it could be a scrap book full of photos of us together , is this good or no? -he loves music , he plays like 11 different instruments -hes really smart -he has a gazzillion Cds so getting him a cd isnt an option -he loves track and soccer -he loves horror movies -his fav ice cream is strawberry -his fav chocolate bar is toblerone (idk how o spell it -.- ) -he doesnt listen to a lot of pop music , he likes bands like Metallica,three days grace, three doors down, ACDC, theory of a dead man, creed, billy talent, hedley, skillet, breaking benjamin , all those bands ( we like the same music) i know more but im pretty sure this is enough info , so any good ideas? i need serious answers , not "have sex" and all that ! thanks :)

Well... I am 22 years old, woman and i have two kids (daughter 2 yr - son 8 months). 3 years ago i married my dream partner, first we where engaged for 1 month and then we married each other. Im from Denmark and he is from India, so after marry him i came back to DK for a new visa, and went back to India 1 month later. I was living with my husband and my "family" in law, but they where so mean to me, they allways talked bad things about me and my family, and my husband never said anything to them, becouse of their behavior. Then i left his home and dicided to stay at my aunts house. At that time i was 6 months pregnant with our first child, he never took me to the doctor for check up, and when we went to the doctor, i used my money for medication and the fee. He never paid any fee. When my daughter was born he never brought her a gift, (i brought her a gold bracelet with her name). And today she is 2 yr old, and he has never brought her a chocolate!! When my son was born, he was on holiday in DK to see him, And he had not brought any gift for the kids or me!! When he went back to India, There was missing some money in my purse (abt 1000 $), and few days later some family members to me, told me that he had brought a little house for his mother!! Is it fair what he have done to me or what?? What should i do?? I have applied for seperation and after 6 months divorce, becouse of all this. I did the right thing.. RIGHT?? And i also applied for the whole child custody for both children.. And now i have full custody of both kids. Can he do anything/ indian goverment help him to take the kids away from me, when i have the papers from Denmark?? waiting for answers... PLEASE help me And thank u people, for helping!!
