Open Question: His painting. Trash into treasure, c/c?
I know his habits.
Gazing at the glowing jewel of the small painting
I know the table is filled with trash,
beer cans, bottles, too full ashtrays,
paper, coffee stained,his detritus.
But with his painter's eyes,
his brush an extension of his mind
he transforms.
The dingy ceiling is the most delicate celedon green,
the color only seen on ceremonial tea bowls,
breaking over porcelain rings.
A blue doorway leads to a mysterious bedroom
the littered clothes becoming a rich rug
on a parquest floor.
The table, oh that wasteland of rubbish
glows a sienna orange
warm, inviting,
the trash transformed
into still-life
impressionistic,
transcended.
His sight,
his eyes.
My painting, a gift.
I love it more because I know
his history.
Geez, PN! Thank you.
Oh - typo - "parquet"
Kels - he is my dearest friend - Gosh now for almost twenty years. Unfortunately his work always keeps him far away from me. I suppose my love shines through. Oh - he is also my husband's dearest friend as well. We are lucky to have him.
Rosa! Here you are! We do love and care for you MUCH!

Open Question: If you were dehydrated would drinking tea/coffee help you or make you worse?
In other words is tea or (instant) coffee going to rehydrate you because of the water content, or would the caffeine content do more harm than the drink would do good?
Hypothetical situation. Suppose you were in the desert dehydrated and coffee was the only drink available. Would it be best to take it or leave it?

Open Question: Are my eating habits a concern?
My average day's food total is roughly as follows
6am-5pm
Fresh squeezed juice (2 cups) combination of kiwi, banana, mango, apple, pear, and carrot
2-4 cups of coffee throughout the school day
6 cups of water throughout the school day
5pm-8pm
1 tofurky sausage
1 fried, diced potato (size of fist) with scallions and mushrooms
1/2 - 1 cup rice with vegetables and curry
3 cups water
8pm-bed time
2 cups tea with 2 tiles 80% dark chocolate
10-20 Tostitos multigrain chips with salsa
If I eat anything more I purge because I feel bloated and uncomfortable
I know I won't put on weight because I've been losing weight drastically, and I know my diet items are healthy, the question is more about the quantity. My mom and my guidance counselor are saying I'm not eating enough food, I'm wondering what you think because I feel full.

Open Question: Black Tea brewing question?
I went to whole foods yesterday and got this Ginger Peach Black Loose tea. They have jars of tea and you pick one and scoop how much you want into a plastic bag. So i got the tea went home and brewed it, and it was great. I loved it. So this morning I brewed some and it was still amazing. But now its night and when I brew it, it comes out lighter. Yesterday and this morning it was the color of black coffee, and just now when I brewed it, it was like red water, it was much lighter that usual. Also it didnt have much taste, and I had to add a bunch of sugar for it to taste good. So what happened to it. I left it it in the plastic bag on the counter, but everytime I closed it, I made sure to get the air out. So did the light do it? Can light really spoil tea that quickly?

Open Question: When I travel by train anywhere in India?
and I want a tea or coffee it is pre-mixed with sugar I always ask for tea/coffee no sugar, but can't have. I do not like sugar, sweet things, and what about diabetics who should not take sugar, this is bad for health. If sugar is required why can it not be given seperately or alternatley supply the sugar-frees with hot water to make own. There have been 2 exceptions to this in my past 5 years of train travel India, that being the Shatabdi and Doronto Express trains, where sugar is seperate.

Open Question: Archival qualities of Coffee dyed paper?
I'm asking because I've read mixed reviews about tea stained- ie, teas make it more acidic, teas make it last longer in archives, et cetera - but, despite searching, haven't found anything to the coffee stained archival properties. Are they better or worse?
I know coffee makes the paper more aromatic, and possibly darker. Isn't it more acidic than tea, though? So it would be worse archivally, right?

Resolved Question: Parents why not give kids coffee?
Well actually here we drink tea but same thing! (kind of). I tasted coffee before and it was great! I poured pack after pack of sugar and poured a lot of cream into it. It was sooo sweet, I've never been as happy. So with all the good things coffee does, why dont you give it to kids??!!
