Open Question: Vegetarians and Vegans: Have you tried Tempeh Smoky Maple Bacon or Gardein's Chick'n Strips?

I ask because I'm looking for a good chicken alternative to some great recipes I had when I had eaten meat. I've used Morning Star Chick'n starter in the past but can't seem to find them anywhere these days (they were only so-so anyways) The Tempeh I thought I'd like to try for my hubby who loves BLT's. Does it have any real compatibility. Thanks so much for your input.

Open Question: What Pizza would you get?

Every now and then I open and deliver at the pizza restaurant I work at. For whoever opens, they get a free lunch. So....what pizza would you make. With HOWEVER many toppings. They got from Schwarma sauce to Pesto to Eggplant, BBQ sauce, red onions, pastrami, feta, bacon, zucchini and they also have Gluten free thin crust. I get to open tomorrow so cant wait to see what you guys come up with!

Open Question: Please help!! Does my dog have bloat?

Purebred German Shepherd named Shiloh, about 8 years old, very healthy, happy and active dog. Slim, too. About 4-5 pm today (yesterday? lol) I started to notice my dog acting kind of weird. He was panting up a storm inside even though he hadn't been running or anything. His breathing sounded kind of off, like 1-2 3 1-2 3 instead of 1 2 1 2. He seemed to be ignoring me and only wanted to lay down. As a test I gave him a cat treat, which he did come running for and ate, yay. He also did drink pretty much all the water I gave him. Looked up the symptoms, remembered bloat, & went to run my hands over his belly. It did seem a little bit bigger/tighter than normal, but then again I don't really measure it every day :p he farted a few times, which I have never heard him do. An hour later I gave him 2 teaspoons of Maalox, which seemed to help. The whole day he'd been asking for belly rubs, pretty much nonstop. Hour after that, he's back to normal, playing, greeting etc, but the tummy still seemed off. I could be overanalyzing because he's so naturally skinny, and he's got black fur. 1:30a now, he woke me up whining, gassy stomach, same size. Tail's wagging but he won't get up. Just had my mom look at him and feel his belly, she says it's fine, but I dunno. Still feels tighter/firmer and bumpier to me (not any different than earlier though). He free-feeds Purina chow, has done so all his life, always thought of him as an undereater. Only drinks water. May have gotten some bacon or a pancake from my brother this morning, also normal. Alarmed mainly because his brother Dakota died of a horrible bloat 6 years ago. D: what should I do? stay up with him? walk him? there's a 24-hour animal hospital around the corner, but my mom won't get up again, and I'm 13, hahah. Says she'll take him to the vet 8 tomorrow morning if I still want that. Just checked his gums, pink and black, as usual. He really will not stand up, though. Still breathing uneven. Ach; the Maximum Strength Maalox I gave him has simethicone, could that be alright? too young to drive anywhere, and my mom won't do anything... oof. I just called the hospital and this really rude guy answered. "hey, I think my dog might have bloat?" "when will you be coming in?" "i can't, i just wanna talk to-" "umm.... there's not really anything I can do from here, now is there?" *click* =_=

Open Question: What do i do with this turkey roll up?

I pounded 2 turkey cutlets, put bacon, and chopped mushrooms and rolled them up and battered them. I put them in a baking dish at 350. They have been in there 90 mins now and i just cut into them and its still pink! Burning on the outside and raw in the middle! Help!

Open Question: I did a DJ gig at a lake resort and ...?

I was hangin' out with the kitchen staff and I got hired as a part-time cook.My question is...what do you guys think of a double cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato,a fried egg (sunnyside up),two strips of bacon,and two pieces of avocado stuffed between a crisped sesame seed bun? We have to come up with a new burger for the menu and this is what I'm thinking of presenting to them.Let me know....and by the way this burger is fvckin good!

What are some good work outs for upper thighs, stomach (mostly middle/lower), upper arms, and back? I wanna lose two to 3 inches in the next 3-4 months. I eat little bit for breakfest (bowl of ceral, like filling the bottom of the bowl, or a egg with a pice of bacon), a snack (like a nuddy bar, or a cookie, or samwhich) somewere in the day, then i have little bit for dinner. and i drink 2 to 3 cups of tea a day. Any work out or diet plans to help me? i really wanna lose weight. how much should i do, and how many times to?
